Pet Blessing

We’re celebrating the Feast of St. Francis by blessing the pets of our neighbourhood! God created all creatures, great and small, and in the animal companions with which we share this earth we have a chance to catch a glimpse of the divine creator. Come join us as we seek the divine in our four-legged friends–we’ll have a table set up in front of the church, just steps away from the Arbutus Greenway. Bring your dogs, cats, rabbits, or whatever critter shares your life to receive a prayer and blessing from one of our priests. Bundles of homemade dog treats and plenty of head scratches are available for all the critters who drop by for a visit.

This family-friendly event is also great for humans of all ages, all are welcome.
