A Place of Service
At St. Faith’s, we believe that God is at work in the world around us in more ways than we can know or even imagine. We are called to seek out God in these places and to participate in God’s work of reconciling and healing our broken world.
There are many ways that we do this work, both individually and collectively. Sometimes it is simply by walking the streets of our neighbourhoods and our city, listening and watching for God. Sometimes it is by reaching out, being in relationship with, and caring for those who are hurting, suffering, or alone. Sometimes it is by providing direct financial support to community partners. And sometimes it is by going into the community simply to remind people that they are beloved children of God.
Bryn’s Neighbourhood Table
Once a month, a team of volunteers from St. Faith’s serve together at Bryn’s Neighbourhood Table to assist in serving a hot meal for our neighbours right in the heart of Marpole. Located at St. Augustine’s Anglican Church, this feeding ministry, along with the Marpole Community Food Hub, serves over a hundred households each week. In addition to our monthly shift at Bryn’s Neighbourhood Table, we collect non-perishable food items every week to support the Marpole Community Food Hub.
