A Place of Prayer

The foundation of faith is prayer, because it is through prayer that we come to know God and grow in our relationship with God. Often times people feel uncertain about how to pray, but the truth is that there are as many ways as there are people. Some pray through study and contemplation of Holy Scripture, some through intercessions for themselves and the world, some through writing and art, some through the words of our tradition as found in our prayer book, and still others through silent meditation.

Likewise, the foundation of St. Faith’s is our life of prayer. As a community, we support one another in our practices of prayer. We know that we all come from different walks of life, and so we create space for a wide variety of expressions of prayer in our midst. Join us in our weekly worship services, participate in one of our many workshops on spirituality that we offer throughout the year, or simply drop by during the week to pray in our church and/or light a devotional candle. We keep the building open Tuesday-Friday from 9:30am to 4pm for all people seeking a quiet place to connect with God.
