On August 26, 2026 your Church council met to recap summer activities and start to plan for the fall (yikes-it will be September before we know it). The good news is that our Capital Campaign has more than met its goal with $212,498.00 in cash and pledges to date. A special thanks to all who have contributed and especially to Campaign Team Members.
Given the success of the campaign the wardens will be placing the order for the new organ, with an expected delivery date early in 2027. The window replacement is also moving along and work will likely begin this fall.
Progress continues on the Daycare front with plans being finalized. Physical work will likely start mid September with some demolition followed by classroom construction. Renovations to the downstairs washrooms will also be taking place.
There are a number of events scheduled for the upcoming months:
- Sep 9/26 Feather Circle starts up
- Sep 18/26 Art Gallery opening
- Oct 17/26 Celebrating 50 years of the Ordination of Women
- Nov 27/26 Illuminate Gala Night 10-year anniversary
Details of the above will be appearing around the Church, as well as in the Sunday Bulletins.
Finally, a Fall work party is scheduled for Sep 19/26 which will include the creation of a second wild garden to the east of the parking lot.
