Environmental Stewards

We are committed to being good stewards of the land. We are called to this work by God, whose creation it is we steward. What’s more, we do this work in thanksgiving of the ancestors who cared for the land in the generations before us, so that we can, in turn, become good ancestors ourselves, entrusting it to the generations that come after us.

Our environmental stewardship is shared across members of our congregation, from our climate team who look at ways we can reduce our carbon usage, to our many garden volunteers who tend to our gardens and grounds, and our staff and leadership who embody these values in our purchasing and planning decisions.
